  1. Debtors Report

    The Debtors Report lists those Account Payers that owe money to the practice. It can be run to show results based on Payer Type, Branch, Treating Doctor and Status.
  2. Practice details

    Enter a practice's details into Zedmed. This information includes settings that can govern other branches, practice definable fields and doctors' banking reports.
  3. Add a new Medicare item

    Add new MBS items that are not currently in Zedmed. These are items that Medicare has added to MBS and need to be loaded using the fees file. Performing a fees update will not add these items.
  4. Invoice a patient

    Use the information provided by the doctor to create an invoice and process the payment. The payer can be the patient, a third party or Medicare, and Zedmed supports Tyro, Bulk Billing and ECLIPSE payments.
  5. Cancel an invoice (void)

    Cancel (void) an invoice that has been paid or an invoice that has not been paid. If the invoice has a claim submitted, Medicare will need to be informed so they can cancel that claim.
  6. Intramail system

    Send an internal email using a system that is safe and secure. You will receive a notification when mail arrives, and you can link a message to a patient's record and add the message to a patient's history.
  7. Reprints and cancellations

    Once you have created a script, you can interact with it in the Drugs module's Today's Scripts section and Existing Drugs tab.
  8. Recording an encounter

    Use the Current Encounter screen to record information and access the clinical modules. This information includes the REF, your own clinical notes and entries made by the clinical modules used during an encounter.
  9. Set up Online Appointments

    Set up Zedmed Online Appointments (OLA), including information about your doctors (specialties, languages, etc), and what Appointment Types and times are available.
  10. Schedule reminders

    Send patients SMS confirmations and reminders for their appointments. The reminders can be sent manually or scheduled to go out automatically.
