This guide explains how to create a Tyro API password, which is used to link a bank account in Zedmed to Tyro eCommerce. Payments for the bank account owner will be processed by Tyro and deposited into that bank account the next day.
Step 1 - Set up your Administrator account
- Log in to Tyro's eCommerce portal with the credentials provided by Tyro for your eCommerce account.
URL: https://tyro.gateway.mastercard.com/ma\ - Change your password when prompted.
- Log in with the new password.
- Create a 2FA by scanning the QR code with your 2FA app
- Enter the 2FA code into the fields provided.
- Log in again using the 2FA.

Step 2 - Create an Operator (integrations) account
In this step, you will create an account with elevated privileges and then log in to that account.
- Select Admin > Operators.
- Select Create a New Merchant Administrator Operator
- Fill in the Operator Details.
• Operator ID - enter a logical name. E.g Integrations.
• Operator Name - you can use the same name used for the Operator ID.
• Enter and confirm the password.
- Further down the page, tick the following permissions:
• View Report Pages
• Download Order Search Results.
• May Configure Integration Settings.
• May Configure Integration Settings.
• May Configure Email and Webhook Notifications.

Select Submit.
You will now see the new account in the Operator list.
- Logout.


Step 3 - Generate your Integration API password
In this step, you will log in using your Operator account (called Integrations) and create an API password, whihc will be used in Zedmed to connect your bank account to Tyro eCommerce.
- Log in to the eCommerce portal with the operator account you created in Step 1.
This time, the Operator ID will be Integrations
URL: https://tyro.gateway.mastercard.com/ma.
You will be asked to:
a) Change your password
b) Log in again
c) Create a 2FA using the QR code
d) Log in again - Select Admin > Integration Settings.
- Select Edit.

- Tick the Password 1 box to enable this new API Password
- Select Generate New.
- Select Submit.
- Take a copy of the password.
You will need to provide this password to your PM/Admin, who will use it to enable your bank account for eCommerce payments.




Step 4 - Generate your Reporting password
This is not mandatory, but it is required if you want to use the ePayment Reconciliation report.
- Select Admin > Reporting API Integration Settings.
- Select Edit.
- Tick the Password 1 box to enable this new Password.
- Select Generate New.
- Select Submit.
- Take a copy of the password.



You will need to provide this password to your PM/Admin, who will use it to enable your bank account for eCommerce payments.
