Zedmed on-prem supports WelchAllyn and OfficeMedic ECGs machines and connects to them using Cardioview from a patient's clinical record. Zedmed Cloud does not support ECG integrations.
To record an ECG
- From Zedmed Clinica, select on the Open Patient Icon.
- Type in the first few letters of the patient surname, comma, the patient initial.
- Select Find.
- Select the correct patient, click on Select.
- Select Perform ECG icon.
- This launches the third-party ECG software - Cardioview.
- The patient’s name should be populated.
- Perform the ECG as per usual.
- Select Save.
A window asking for a description will appear. - Enter the title you wish the image to be saved as in the patient record.
- Select OK.
- The saved ECG will be listed on the Images/ECG tab in the Summary Views area.
- To view the ECG, right-click on it and select View Image.
